The Communication Aspects of Motivation in Closed Institutions

Abstract

One cannot question the importance of communication as it is present in our everyday lives, as well as in the formation of our various relationships and connections to other human beings. Communication is a tool in our hands to connect to and to influence people, or even motivate those that are coming into connection with us. In this present article the author tries to summarise how communication is present in closed institutions and how the means of it can be used between inmates and staff in order to find their motivation, inner strength or resources in the closed environment.
