The Role of Firearms Training in the Hungarian Law Enforcement Higher Education

Abstract

The article gives a brief insight into the practice of firearms training as a part of Hungarian law enforcement higher education. Introduce the specialities of firearms training on the Faculty of Law Enforcement of the National University of Public Service, the connection with other subjects. Presents the firearms used, the personnel concerned in the training and the short description of the subject. In addition to the above descripts the current technical and human challenges of the practical training and education. Particularly presents the problems of training and education of Y and Z generations, with special regard to firearms training.
