Abstract

The main role of technology in education would be targeted to facilitate education and implement effective learning (Czékmán 2017; Buda 2018). Thanks to ICT devices, language learners can listen to, repeat, and practise different expressions (Matthey 2006). An attitude research (with a questionnaire) was carried out amongst full time students in year 1 in the academic year of 2017/2018 at the Faculty of Law Enforcement of the National University of Public Service (N=731). In total 43 students responded to the questionnaire. It is assumed that the use of e-learning material has a positive effect on students’ motivation during language lessons. The results show that the majority of the respondents consider that ’learningapps’ materials can help students to test their knowledge and it makes learning enjoyable. The use of ICT could have a positive effect on the students’ motivation in and out of the lessons.
