Thoughts on the development possibilities of police tactics education at the Faculty of Law Enforcement of the National University of Public Service

Abstract

In my dissertation, I try to give useful and easy-to-apply methods and ideas for the development possibilities of teaching police action tactics at the Faculty of Law Enforcement. The tactical training of police officers plays a key role in the safety of themselves and civilians, so special attention should be paid to the teaching of this subject. In the following, I try to point out the importance of collaborations between the individual departments, the possibilities of applying the relevant literature, the practice centric nature of the subject and the development opportunities provided by law enforcement socialisation classes. Last but not least, I try to emphasise the key role of pedagogical skills in higher education.
