Competences for Developing Interactions between Drones and Other Devices, as well as Image Transmission

doi: 10.32577/mr.2021.4.11

Abstract

Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) allow data to be collected in areas and times that are still inaccessible to traditional remote sensing platforms. Due to technical advances, their scope is expanding and the devices are being specified. The main limiting factors of the application are the image transmission and the interaction between the drone and other devices (e.g. drone–controller relationship, drone–drone communication). The aim of this study is to present the current state of these technologies and possible future development directions.
