Abstract

The Faculty of Law Enforcement is in a peculiar, one might say a very delicate position: the education of most students is financialized by the state and their future profession is guaranteed, as they do not have competitors since another faculty of law enforcement does not exist in the country. This situation may put one at ease, therefore we have to be cautious: one should not take advantage of this privileged position, in fact, it must be earned with increased effort and with remarkable tutorial and research activities of high standard. Although the phrase “public service” is in the name of the institution, it is appropriate if independently thinking graduates leave the institution who entirely meet the requirements of the public.
