Comments about the New Rules of the National Security Review
Abstract
In June 2013 the Hungarian Parliament adopted the act amending the rules of the national security review. The Constitutional Court suspended the amendment on the ombudsman’s proposal and started to test the unconstitutionality of some provisions. According to the proposal, the new provisions infringe the principle of the separation of powers, the rule of law and the right to respect for the private and family life.
