Crime Statistics from the Point of View of Efficiency
Abstract
When measuring the efficiency of criminal investigation, we examine the operation of a complex system; in case of incorrect fundamental assumptions, the results, if applied to the system, can cause its structural and functional disorder. The statistical approach through causing the entropy of formal and informal factors interacts with the results of a defective efficiency thesis. In my study I present the weaknesses of the output oriented investigation efficiency statistics contrasting it to an optimal system of efficiency measurement; finally, I attempt to model efficiency in a thesis formula.
