Causes of Police Corruption

Abstract

Citizens often identify the police with corruption. A survey conducted by the author shows that one of the ways for reducing corruption is raising the respect for this profession for which there is a growing social demand. The fact that there are more applicants to police academies than available places proves this point. The aim of my research is to find how respect towards the police can be restored and what measures are needed to obtain positive results in the field of corruption.
