The Law Enforcement Aspects of the Homeless Problem

Abstract

In this study I intend to look for answers for the questions raised by the possible measures against homeless people. First I review the previous Hungarian legislative efforts then I go on to discuss the decision of the Constitutional Court and the fourth amendment of Fundamental Law of Hungary; finally, I introduce the new offence statements in the framework of the new regulatory environment. Following the analysis I offer suggestions worth considering from the point of view of a practicing law enforcement officer.
