Environmental Degrading Timber Theft (Tree Felling) − Features, Regional and Seasonal Attributes

Abstract

The study is based on criminal statistics; crime maps reveal the prevalence of timber theft, its regional and temporal characteristics. The comparative analysis of Hungarian regions reveals the underlying geographical and social factors increasing the probability of this criminal activity.
