Extending the Competence of the Hungarian Disaster Management Organization with Water Authority Tasks

Abstract

The disaster management organizations took over water authority tasks from its legal predecessor on 14 September 2014. The change brought about a considerable restructuring in the disaster management organization significantly increasing its capabilities. I would like to show the possibilities of the new system with the help of a SWOT analysis.
