  • Bogárdi Tünde

Abstract

The objective of my study is to present the public safety situation of disadvantaged regions, based on the questionnaire survey conducted in a village located at the internal periphery of Southern Heves County, Hungary in the summer of 2014. After outlining the problem, which indicates the extreme importance of public safety, I present the experiences gained during the field research, with the exploration of typical criminal groups and activities. In relation to this, I also study the responses and survival strategies of the local population.
