Private Security Training in Berlin

Abstract

There has been a private security training at the Department of Police and Security Management of the Berlin School of Economics and Law since 2011. The paper outlines its Bachelor and Master programmes. It presents the requirements for admission to the institution, the organisation of the Department and the structure of the teaching material, based on the latest Module Handbook. It provides information about the number of lessons and credit rates of the various subjects, the system of the students’ work placement and about other features of law enforcement training in Germany.
