Abstract

The aim of the survey is to give an overview on the implementation of a community policing project on behalf of the European Union Police Mission in Afghanistan. The reader will acquire an insight into this multilateral international cooperation and get familiar with the police system in Afghanistan. The survey ends with a “lessons learnt” conclusions trying to answer the question whether similar projects are efficient or not.
