The Role of Police in Aviation Security

Abstract

In the 21th century we think of aviation as the most evident and natural form of transport. It is also well known that flying is the safest alternative of travelling. However, civil aviation and its security is a far more complex question than it seems at first sight. This field is exposed to constant changes due to terrorist threat, the rapid progress of technology and changing laws. In my paper I would like to highlight a small section of aviation security by examining the work of the police.
