“At the Risk of Transgressing the Law”

An Outline of the Concept of History of Organized Crime I.

Abstract

Conceptual history as a discipline in history provides an excellent opportunity to analyze the history of organized crime, as a process determined by the social structures in a particular discursive space. The present study is not an empirical investigation of organized crime, it aims to analyze how over the past 100 years this notion was constructed in various texts in the world of phenomenons. How it was established and how through its metamorphosis it has become the major threat to the modern nation state.
