Uniforms, Equipment and Weapons of the Hungarian Police I. (1861—1896)

Abstract

The study was written to present the standard uniforms, equipment and service weaponry of the Hungarian Police between 1861 and 1945. No comprehensive police history work has yet been written about this subject concerning this time period, only a few sub-studies. The sources include not only the detailed and taxative uniform regulations of this period, but also the available monographs and the related materials of the professional police press as well.
