The Role of Creating a Specific Legal Act in the Fight Against Domestic Violence
Abstract
The legal act, in itself, has raised a number of questions from its creation and has led to confusion on part of those applying the law. Furthermore, the legal act under review is even less effective in connection with domestic violence. Even if one accepted the claim that domestic violence needs to be criminalized, creating a specific legal act in the criminal code neglecting the particular nature of the phenomenon in question, thus overcomplicating this already complex issue would be an excessively flawed solution.
