Illicit Art Trade: International Trends, Law Enforcement Measures and Future Perspectives

Abstract

The study presents the trends of illicit international art trade, especially that of archaeological art works. The work outlines the responses of law enforcement in an international context and highlights the importance of tighter integration between internal affairs bodies, NGOs, experts and curators, etc., to prevent crime and develop Art Crime Studies.
