Information Support for Civilian Crisis Management Missions and Operations

Abstract

The paper deals with the civilian crisis management missions and operations, and their information support system. It reviews the types of information operations, and the possible ways of application during the civilian crisis management. It gives priority to the opportunity and the significance of the received home-based information, and the information of the home based national security services. During interviews with national organizations concerned with civilian crisis management, members introduce the current situation and give recommendations concerning potential ways of development.
