Candidate Officers’ First Encounter with Criminalistics (Lessons Learned From a Simulated Accident)

Abstract

On the basis of empirical research conducted with first-year candidate officers, we are presented with the problems of human perception. We are searching for reasons of frequent memory errors, and the differences in the perception of subjects. To achieve this we take into consideration the previous research, such as the approaches for our experiments and theoretical aspects.
