Migration and Trafficking in Persons in Times of Crisis — Dynamics of the Connection between the Syrian Conflict and Vulnerability

Abstract

The majority of factors influencing the migratory decision of an individual can be rooted in the lack of good governance, the weak or failed states. Through the example of the Syrian crisis, the study points out the absence of a harmonized international approach to trafficking in persons in armed conflicts.
