Abstract

Civil-military relations were already present in the early stages of the formation of civilizations, and their directions were determined by the rulers' and social expectations characteristic of the given era. The aim of this publication is to examine the process of how civil-military relations developed in the 20th and 21st centuries have been transformed as a result of the intensifying processes in cyberspace, and what special tasks the military sector should prepare for in the future in order to be successful in the execution of operational tasks. Without the support of the civilian sector, the military operations of the present era can no longer be carried out, and in order to achieve this, the necessary cooperation platforms must be established and the framework for joint task execution must be developed. Special attention must be paid to the practice of the processes, for which joint national and international practices must be planned and implemented.
