The Battlefield Lighting and Equipments of Vision or Vision Limitation

Abstract

The second article of our series presenting the military aspects of light and visibility continues the previous topic with the related conditions, circumstances, means and requirements of the battlefield. Due to the extension of the topic, we present it in three separate subchapters. The first deals with the environment and the tools that influence battlefield vision, and their grouping. The requirements, specifications and equipment will be discussed in the second part. The third subchapter will consist of a historical overview of the subject, dealing also with light insurance. In this separate article we will show the tools and regulations, the dynamism and challenges of the area and its difficulties and opportunities. The article explains, on the one hand, operation and actions that are limited in terms of visibility, and on the other, tools affecting our vision.
