Empirical Examination of Receptivity to Artificial Intelligence and Different Perceptions

doi: 10.32567/hm.2025.2.7

Abstract

The rapid spread of artificial intelligence creates new social and regulatory challenges. My research focused on examining the penetration of technology and its legal framework, with particular emphasis on the emergence of ChatGPT as a phenomenon. The mixed-methods study combined a questionnaire survey and analysis of online search trends using the UTAUT2 model of technology adoption, analyzing data from the Google Trends platform on various topics following the release of ChatGPT, both domestically and internationally. The questionnaire survey examined the respondents' level of information, awareness, and various perceptions using different statistical methods, revealing a complex picture of the relationship between information and risk perception, with a significant correlation only in the case of certain concerns. The research highlighted that there is no clear relationship between conscious technology use and the perception of future risks, which raises important questions about the social perception of technological development.
