Abstract

The objective of my serial study is to highlight the necessity of introduction of a new personnel airborne troop parachute system in the Hungarian Defence Forces (HDF)
and to make a proposal for the process of the procurement.
I introduced the widely used modern conventional personnel airborne troop parachute systems and examined the types of the main and the reserve parachutes,
and the automatic activation devices in the earlier parts of my study. In the fifth, and actually the final part of my study those accessoires are examined that fitted the modern, but conventional personnel airborne troop parachute systems used by many defence forces, and that could be worn during the parachute dropping safely by the paratroopers of the HDF, as the optional appliers in the future.
