New Ways to Improve the Fitness Ability of the Intervening Personnel, Most Importantly with the Use of Proprioceptive Methods

Abstract

During the everyday work of the intervening personnel of the armed and peacekeeping organizations, they are subjected to enormous burdens, extreme health damaging effects and the absolute risk of an accident. Not only the exercised muscle work, but special effects mean a burden for their bodies, like hyperthermia and dehydration during a fireman’s work. However, central nervous systemic, regulatory factors play a crucial role in the reduction in performance, exhaustion, therefore these should be considered equally when examining fitness abilities and during improvement. From the risk management side, it is exceptionally important to investigate all the possibilities which can reduce the rates of mortality, morbidity, lower the number of permanent damages to health and the number of sick days, whilst maximizing the years of service, professional fulfilment and the expected quality of life.
In this statement, the author shows the new way of improving fitness ability, the usage of proprioceptive methods, which can equally provide a complex solution in the fields of prevention, physical preparation and rehabilitation.
