Abstract

One of the most prominent stages in the Hungarian technical sciences was microwave research that started in the early 1940s and was rapidly developing. Based on the active tools developed and the partially transferred German technology, the first military locators were built, and these researches enabled the February 1946 Moon radar experiments. The new technology required new specialists and engineers with special knowledge. This article is about the beginning of their training.
