Drones, Hybrid Threats, Terrorism from Airspace: Privatization Of Air Power

Abstract

In the past, along with the appearance of hobby drones in the public retail and also along with the increase of their selling, the issue of threat posed by drones and counter measures have become one of the hottest topics of defence in general and of security policy.
Highly diversified products of the manufacturers from the Far East have become privately owned in great numbers. The terrorists became aware of potential of products of this market segment as well and also became aware of the illegal employment opportunities quickly.
The paper looks at employment history of the small drones which are available in public retail and also give some thoughts about drone strategy of Islamic State.
