Planning of the Hydrological Monitoring Network

Abstract

The development of technology, including the fast evolution of electronic devices has a strong influence on all areas where this equipment is used. The hydrological measurement technology also fully transformed. This fact not only facilitates the measurement work, but more information was provided for the users. The new measurement devices not only changed the requirements of the single devices, but the planning of the network and the communication has to implement according different aspects. The authors’ target is to collect those planning principles on which a new, modern measurement network can be implemented, used the state-of art technology. The second half of this bulletin includes those technical directives with which the requirements of the instruments to be procure can be created.
