Abstract

The reduction of the risk of accidents and fires occurring during the operation of underground railways (subways) requires special technical solutions, continuous technical improvements from operators. The authors describe the most damaging and demanding lives subway damage that has happened so far, and presented the new security equipment and improvements to reduce them both at home and abroad. How does the intrinsic technical failure, explosion, terrorist act affect the intent of underground traffic for greater security? What can we do to protect ourselves in such cases?
