Present-day Application Possibilities of Explosive Detecting Dogs

Abstract

In this study, I would like to present the capabilities of explosive detection dogs and their applications. As a result of a significant change in the security environment over the last decades, the need for detection of explosives has become more and more important. This demand has resulted in the creation of a number of new technical devices, procedures and legal regulations. Despite the fact that there is a number of technical devices in the field of explosive detection, the use of explosive detection dogs has not been lost.
