Abstract

At the end of November 2023, the authors participated in an international seminar organised by RACVIAC on the topic of life cycle management of conventional ammunition, with the participation of more Balkanian countries, Germany, the USA and Hungary. During the event, speakers from each of the UN agencies presented information according to their respective areas of expertise, describing the current state of their research and their most recent experiences on the topic. The presentations were followed by international group work, with representatives from each country sharing their own experiences with the group members and then presenting to the seminar participants. This paper provides a short summary of the event and a brief overview of the UN regulatory environment on ammunition.
