Special technical solutions in high-security sheltered facilities – Part 3

Abstract

In high-security facilities mainly technical solutions with shelters are used. As these high-security facilities have special protecting capabilities among sheltered facilities, they often apply unique and special technical solutions. These technical solutions are sometimes unusual or complicated compared to the everyday engineering design. Applying these technical solutions can minimalise the risk of injuries or damages within the facilities. These solutions should be set up early, in the design requirements, help to the designers to apply them during the design stage.
