Abstract
In the years following the First World War, airplanes were used for more peaceful purposes, however, the need for a significant size airport made their use only limited in the field of disaster response. With their vertical take-off and landing properties and especially the ability to hover in one place, helicopters have significantly contributed to the development of airfreight transport. It took a long time for us to look back and see what a winding road the experimenter traveled until he got to the point where the cargo transport suspended under the helicopter became the most watched events in flood protection.
