Engineer Geniuses: Ernő Hollán

Abstract

Ernő Hollán had outstanding achievements in all aspects of his professional life. These include his military service during the 1848–1849 Revolution and War of Independence, his deeds as a statesman, his devotion to the improvement of the railway network as an industrialist, and last but not least his scientific achievements in the field of military science. His legacy is remembered in this article.
