doi: 10.32562/mkk.2021.1.9

Abstract

Fire protection aspects must be prominently displayed during the design, construction, and use of buildings.  Certain components of buildings can affect the spread of a  fire in different ways. Within this topic, the nature and  extent of fire propagation on building facades depends on  a number of factors, not just the material of the facade  surface. The article describes the types of modern windows  and possibilities of their installation, as well as their effect  on the fire spread of the facade. It gives concrete examples  based on the experience of fires that have occurred.
