Legal Aspects of Employment of Reconnaissance Explosive Ordnance Disposal Soldiers

Abstract

During every explosive ordnance disposal task, soldiers are doing their job in life-threatening circumstances. This task demands continuously enhancing safe background and searching for solutions which can help this process. One of the possibilities is the involvement of reconnaissance explosive ordnance disposal soldiers. With regard to the fact that this is a new form of activity, we must identify the possible difficulties before their active service. Examination of the legal background can help to find those requirements which stand in the way of their involvement. We examine in our study whether this legal background is able to provide adequate answer to these dangerous tasks. Our assumption is that according to the present legal regulations, these operators trained can be employed in the future, but there will be a disharmony between tasks and payment options. Furthermore, we think that it is possible to create a proper legal background which is able to dissolve this disharmony.
