The Possibility of Using Multifunctional Military and Civil Aircraft in the Logistic Operations of Disaster Management

Abstract

Nowadays, the new technical tools and methods, including multi-functional military and civilian aircraft, play a key role in the disaster protection task system, ranging from air-to-fire firefighting, research, rescue, and transportation and deposition tasks to the complex task of long-range disaster management and rescue unit delivery. In my article, I review the types of major airplanes in the system of major organisations involved in disaster management in Hungary, their possible applicability and limitations in the domestic and international-related tasks of logistical management of disaster management.
