Water Security – Implementing of Water Retention Facilities for Climate Adaptation by Municipalities/Settlements

Abstract

The aim of the author is to present the importance and steps of establishing natural water retention facilities designed for climate adaptation by presenting the professional background and the decision-makers. The study examines what water safety and monitoring standards apply to awater retention facility for climate adaptation and whether the extent of water safety is satisfactory.
