Soldiers Killed in Action by Landmines (from the Beginning until the Occupation of Árpád-line)
Abstract
The author was the commander of a sapper company in the last year of WW II. In this article he examines the effectiveness of landmines using his wide experience with the topic. He searches the answer for the following questions: What is the correlation between mine density and enemy-losses? What is the correlation between minefield density and dimension and its holding, delaying capability? Is it valuable to use minefields? His final conclusion: it is a useful act to ban all APL.
