Glass and Blast – The Architectural Dilemma

Abstract

Why blasting experts need to deal with problem of glass structures? On the one hand in case of demolishing with explosives the glasses of neighboring buildings are in danger of breaking by air pressure. On the other hand against of terrorist blast attack experts have to solve the problem of glasses of high risk buildings from security point of view because glass fragmentation causes sever damage.
