Abstract

Nowadays, the number of the natural and man-made disasters is increasing. It can causes huge demage in life and the properties. The collective defense and the cicil protection should be organised properly the new challenges. The sheltering is the one way of civil protection, which is relegated to the background. The article analyzes the different forms of the civil protection, and the different application possibilities of the hungarian metropolitan subway system in this field.
