The Applicability of Aerial Vehicles in Disaster Recovery Operations

Abstract

The actual importance of this topic is not a questin. The words of Mr. Csaba HENDE, Minister of Defence, are giving back todays situation of disaster recovery: „Get ready for what is possible to happen, and count on what never happend befor”. Today the mankind have to be ready not only for natural disasters, earthquake, flood, inland inundation, extreme weathers, but have to be prepared for more often and in more larger scale and serious civilizational disasters coming from social and civilizational progress. The different technical equipments and vehicles are vital in prevention, defence from or recovery of disasters. In my study, I would like to show the applicability of aerial vehicles during disaster recovery operations and such technological potentials, which can give many new possibilities in these operations to maintain more effective, swift and safety work in this area.
