Abstract

Safety is the basic category of security science. However, the security can be interpreted only in assotiation with threats. Perfect protection does not exist, however, the use of complex property protection provides an opportunity to minimize the risk. The mechanical protection is an important component of this system with the locking device, which can be a typical attack surface of the lock. The authors of the article present the key element of the mechanical protection and point to the vulnerability of this.
