Abstract

The most controversial event of 2015 was the building of the fence that helped to control the influx of migrants into Hungary. A lot has been written about the issue but not about the fence itself as an engineer barrier. I am going to make an attempt now to do that and use many examples to prove that this is not an unusual solution to close a border.
