Comparative Analysis of Supervision Processes Related to Hungarian Trusted Services
Abstract
There is a common element in providing all trusted services, this is the trust. All relying parties have to trust into the reliability of these services otherwise any process based on trusted services could not work. The trust can be created by rule-based operation and regular supervision. Two interesting questions are whether there are any similarities between supervision systems of a trusted services and there are any dependecies between level of trust and strength of supervision. I try and answer both questions by comparing two national trusted systems based on predetermined aspects. One of them is supervision of qualified certificate authorities and the second is the supervision of the national classified secret protection processes.
