Performance Analysis of the Gaussian Monostatic – Twin Radar Systems and its Advantages
Abstract
The military and civil radar technologies are expected to grow rapidly. The requirements of the radar measurement accuracy, targets resolution, targets imaging and fast and reliable target recognition are essential today while the protection against different kind of interferences requires constant development. The new types of flying devices are very small in terms of radar cross section and have high maneuvering capability. Among them the most challenging tasks for the radar detection, tracking and recognition are the drones, stealth and the new type of tactical ballistic missiles among heavy interference conditions increasing. The paper is a brief overview of new requirements, resolution of the problems are applying radar equation (Blake chart calculations) demonstrating the possibilities of radar performance improvement.
