Abstract

The freedom of movement and maneuver are integral part of troops’ activity. A series of wars prove that movement, maneuvers, delivery of supply in the right time fundamentally influenced operational activity outcomes. Situation today is the same. However, in the asymmetrical warfare there are many new possibilities and methods to hinder the safe movement of troops. Today, the freedom of movement of troops has become main task of military operations. The safe movement conditions pose a serious task of combined arms and branch of service. The deciding majority of the efforts fall to the engineer troops. They detect and disarm the obstacles, restore roads and objects and provide safe conditions for movement. In this article we want to present these efforts.
